KLIC: Keith Lofstrom's Resume - Sarif, Steve Linn Reference

Sarif used polysilicon on glass to produce their patented analog LCD display cells, intended for computer display projectors. LCD polysilicon has very large statistical mismatch - hundreds of millivolts - which can cause artifacts in the display.

KLIC was called in to improve display quality through aggressive analysis of these statistical mismatches. Portions of the display circuit were redesigned to greatly reduce sensitivity to this problem.

Unfortunately, problems with grain-boundary leakage in the pixel FETs created too many bad pixels in the array. If only I had been assigned to fix that, too!
